On 9/27/25 Everything was fine at first I was helped by floor staff (husky Hispanic kid with glasses male Salesperson 0443777) but after the way he instructed me to go "straight to the register/front" with the sneakers I selected, like I was going to run off with them, was worded poorly or was just racist. Its not like he was trying to give directions, but used inflection: go STRAIGHT to the register. I asked him before I left "Did I look confused or disoriented for you to tell me to go "straight to the register?" He didn't understand what I was implying or was playing dumb. The small Hispanic girl with long hair at the register was nice (cashier 0433859). Won't shop here again there's too many other options for buying sneakers, with a larger selection, in that mall alone to deal with that crap.

We were back to school shopping for the kids. Ordered Nike sneakers from Nike but the shoes were too small and they were sold out of the bigger size we needed. We were in the mall and decided to search for sneakers in time for first day of school. JD Sports is located in the Pembroke Lakes Mall. They are across from Hollister and sits between The Children’s Place and Perfumania. They sell sneakers and activewear clothing for men, women and kids. Stopped by JD Sports and they were packed!!! Probably due to everyone else going back to school shopping and also taking advantage of no tax August month too. We scoped out these cool Nike black & white sneakers and looked for an associate to grab two different sizes for us. Everyone looked busy but we managed to get help from Kailyn who called in the back to pull these sizes for us. A few minutes later, she found us with the shoes and the bigger size worked out nicely! Since it was busy, the lines were pretty long with 10 people deep. Went by fairly quickly as they were staffed appropriate Bonus: these Nike sneakers were on sale!!! Regular price is $70. Sale price is 20% off which was $14 off. Score!!! We ended up paying $57 flat rate because no tax month. Awesome score!!! Thanks Kailyn for your help during this chaotic visit.

Overall great experience here! I’ve made a couple purchases here and always left satisfied. The staff is always very attentive and eager to assist. Today especially Chris was very kind and helpful when I needed assistance. I’ve noticed on certain items prices are a lot lower than other places and they almost always have the size in stock. I am glad this store was added to Pembroke Lakes Mall as I believe it beats the competition.
