Returns Policy

In-Store Returns

In most cases, whether your purchase was made at a JD Sports store or online at jdsports.com or the JD Sports mobile app, merchandise may be returned with an original sales receipt or email containing the applicable order confirmation (collectively, “Sales Receipt”) when the items are:

unworn, in original condition;
returned with price tags still attached (if the returned item is apparel or accessories);
returned in their original box (if the returned item is footwear); and
returned within 45 days of the original purchase.

We reserve the right to determine whether merchandise without a Sales Receipt may be returned. If we determine that a return is warranted despite the lack of a Sales Receipt, the item(s) can only be exchanged or a store credit issued in the amount of the lowest price at which the item(s) was offered for sale in the 45-day period prior to the return. No refunds will be provided in these circumstances.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are JD Sports and Finish Line the same thing?

Yes, Finish Line and JD Sports are part of the same family of brands. JD Sports acquired Finish Line in 2018, and since then many Finish Line stores have been rebranded as JD Sports locations.

Here's what it means for you:

You'll still find the same authentic sneakers, apparel, and accessories you expect
Your STATUS rewards and account work seamlessly at both JD Sports and Finish Line
You can shop at either finishline.com or jdsports.com, with the same trusted experience
Customer service, return policies, and exclusive launches continue across both banners

Does JD Sports offer curbside pickup or in-store pickup?

Yes, JD Sports offers free in-store pickup on many items. When shopping online, just choose 'Pick Up In Store' at checkout to see if your item is available at a location near you. You'll get an email when your order is ready, usually within a few hours.

At this time, curbside pickup isn't available at most JD Sports stores. Orders need to be picked up inside at the designated pickup counter.

What payment methods are accepted at JD Sports stores?

JD Sports stores accept a variety of payment options for your convenience. These include: Major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)

JD Sports gift cards and e-gift cards
Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other contactless payments
Cash (accepted in-store only)
Payment options may vary by location, so it's always a good idea to check with your local store before visiting.

Can I reserve shoes online for pickup at JD Sports?

You can purchase shoes online and select Free In-Store Pickup if the style and size are available at a nearby store. Once your order is placed, the store will set aside your shoes and send you an email confirmation when they're ready.

A few things to know:

Reservations aren't available without payment - you'll need to complete checkout online to hold the item.
Availability varies by store and product. If pickup isn't listed at checkout, that style isn't eligible.
Orders are usually held for a limited time, so be sure to pick them up promptly.

For the latest launches and high-demand sneakers, reservations may not be offered and purchases are first-come, first-served.

Can I return Finish Line orders at JD Sports?

When do sneaker drops launch at JD Sports?

When does JD Sports have sales?

Are there any discounts on new sneaker releases?

Typically, launch and limited‑edition styles are excluded from promo codes and sitewide sales. If a release becomes eligible later, you'll see it noted on the product page and any applicable promo will apply at checkout.

Ways to catch savings when they do apply:

Sign up for email and text alerts for early notice of offers
Join JD STATUS for member‑only promos and drops
Check the Sneaker Release Calendar and the app for updates
Look out for seasonal sales where some recent styles may be included

Promotions vary and exclusions apply. Always review the product page and offer terms before checkout.
