Devon, was a Fantastic Help especially for a customer of a certain age like myself. No purchase pressure!! I got what I wanted and based on his customer service - purchased 2 additional pairs of sneakers!! His name is Devon! The ladies behind the counter were nice as well.

Was cruising through the mall to get something else and saw this store. I also saw they had the New Balance 9060s and I had been wanting a pair. I walked in, was greeted, was helped by Jose (nice guy) who did his job exceptionally well and told me about the shoe cleaner and waterproof deal which I also got in on. In all, I spent just south of $190 on everything. I am giving three stars because I walked up to the front to pay and the young woman who was at the register was already helping someone. That customer, unfortunately, had some sort of an issue with the sale or was returning something (I’m not sure) because their sale was taking upwards of 8 to 10 mins. The line began to build and finally after there were about four people in line, the woman behind me (who was holding a bunch of stuff and just wanted to put it down) asked if they could please get another cashier. The first employee walked past and ignored her. She turned to another employee who was just standing there looking at shoes, and he casually floated further away. She then asked the one cashier who was already there if she could please get another cashier to help as her hands were full. The woman called for another cashier on her earpiece and when a male employee showed up, he began to log in or type into the computer… and she abruptly tells him “Nevermind, you’re good.” Then rudely says to the woman “I’m almost done with this.” The male employee, confused as to why he bothered to help only to be told to go away, walks away. She stood there for another two to three minutes helping the customer and then called for help. This seemed off to me. If there’s a line and 6 employees walking a store with no customers looking at shoes, there should be front end help. Hats off to Jose but training is needed for high volume situations in such a small store with no carts or any way to hold your items. I felt the least that employee could do was say “I’ll be done in a moment but you’re more than welcome to lay your stuff on the counter so you don’t have to hold it.” But she just let myself and that lady stand there and basically refused help. For what I was paying and (I’m sure) for all the items she was paying for, the customer service could’ve been better. But… cool store, lots of selection, just need to update staff on better humanism when running registers.

I shop at JD SPORTS consistently in the UK, and did not know we had one stateside! The Altamonte Shop provided a great customer experience. Will, Devon, and the rest of the team were very inquisitive, informative, and knew exactly what shoe(s) to reccomend based off of what my activites were. 10/10 Sales experience from them. I highly suggest adding soccer and basketball jerseys to the shop.

I really wanna express my gratitude to the sale man Justin I was extremely in a bad mood, I don’t really care for people coming up to me asking questions as soon as I walk in the door, but he had a warm embrace. It was my son‘s birthday and we lost the sneakers. We just bought so I needed to shop for new ones. He went to the back. They didn’t have no more in the size but luckily the display was the size that I needed it. He quickly went and grabbed it, and I was out the door less than 10 minutes. I’m grateful it was my son’s fourth birthday everyone was smiling it was busy to. Justin was really nice thanks for help me.
