Went to pick up a Jordan 1 low olive that just came out. My pick up order did not show as ready but they helped me out and processed it right there for me. Issue was with the sneakers. Weird gash or smudge on toe front where the suede is and a scratch near the Nike logo. I think the shoe was probably tossed around and went through some try ons. I didn’t notice this until I got home. It was annoying to see and for a new item, should look better. I returned it right away and shipped it back. This is my second time with JD and quality issue or perhaps it’s how the product is being treated by associates. But when I go to other retailers for the same shoes, they are perfect. As far as the issues with staff at JD in the comments, I feel JD needs a total retraining on customer service and expectations. The staff is quite immature and the music is louder than the club. This goes back to leadership and the type of people being hired. JD in NYC and all the boroughs are notorious for terrible customer service. It’s considered the “hood” sneaker store.
